Hey church!
As many of you know, a team of rotating leaders have served us each week by volunteering to lead worship on Sunday mornings. Each of these leaders have brought a unique skill set to the table and have done an outstanding job each week. We are extremely grateful for their sacrifice and service to the church.
After having multiple conversations with these leaders back in August, we felt it would be wise to begin to look for a part time worship leader to take over the reigns starting in January of 2021.
After months of prayerful searching, we are excited to announce that we have officially hired Christian Hilley to be our part time worship leader starting this January!
As a Montgomery native, Christian has lived in Mobile for 10 years. He and his wife Courtney know and love this community, having run a small business in midtown for the last several years. To say Christian is talented as a musician would be an understatement. He has served in various roles with a number of churches in the past and stands to share that experience with us. More importantly, though, Christian is a humble servant of Jesus whose desire is to lead others to glorify Christ. This therefore leads us to confidently say that we believe he has much to contribute when it comes to congregational worship!
There’s much to be excited about for 2021, and we can’t wait to continue serving the Lord with you all!
