At Harbor Community Church, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus by caring for our neighbors in every season of life. Whether you're facing a difficult time or know someone who is, we want to connect you with trusted community resources that offer support—especially when it comes to meeting one of the most basic needs.

Below is a list of local organizations and ministries that provide free meals and food assistance in our area. We encourage you to reach out, share this with others, or contact us if you need help navigating these resources. Please note that times and services may change so we encourage you to call ahead.

  • Various senior centers and home delivery locations in Mobile County (e.g., Tillman's Corner, Trinity Gardens, City of Chickasaw)

    Varies by location. Contact the Area Agency on Aging for specific schedules.

    Provides congregate meals at senior centers and home-delivered meals for persons aged 60 and older on a donation-only basis.

    Wednesdays: Dinner seating begins at 5:00 PM

    Offers a free meal as part of their "Community Night." Also operates "The Food Pantry at Central" (FPAC) by appointment.

  • 5660 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619 (behind Church Office off Calhoun Road)

    Tuesdays & Fridays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Food Pantry)

    Offers food, clothes, hygiene items. Eligibility based on factors, call ahead. Free hot meal every first Friday of the month (limited availability 9 AM - Noon).

  • Various rotating locations in Mobile County

    Varies; check their "Food Distribution Calendar" (on their website) for specific dates and times.

    Mobile Pantries are drive-up, free food distributions with produce, dry goods, meat, and dairy. Call ahead/arrive early.

    Tuesdays: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

    Offers lunch as part of their "Crichton Table" program, which includes a Bible message. Please confirm Monday services directly with the church.

  • 126 Mobile St, Mobile, AL 36607

    1st & 3rd Thursday of each month: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

    Operates "The Joseph Project Food Pantry." Participants can receive supplemental food once a month.

  • Mobile, Alabama (operates throughout Mobile County)

    Monthly food giveaways; also provides groceries to homeless/hotels throughout the month. After-hours food pantry.
